We offer several options for children at the Pre-K level.
This program aligns with Maryland Model for College and Career Readiness, introducing the social and academic readiness skills to prepare children for their formal learning experience of Kindergarten. Our Pre-K programs use the Children Study their World curriculum which is a componant of the Children Discover their World Curricula. CSW is grounded in science and exploration. The curriculum approaches mathmatics, language, literacy, communication, nature, science and emotional developmental. Approaches to learning, scientific reasoning, and motor and physical development are met through content-rich projects that build upon children’s knowledge and increase in complexity.
There are four options for our Pre-kindergarten Program, ranging from part time to full time enrollment. Class size is generally 16 children with a Lead Teacher and Teacher Assistant.
Our STEM program can be utilized along with a Pre-K program to build a 5-day schedule for a student.
