Our Curriculum

                           Our Curriculum

Asbury Christian Preschool is thrilled to be using the Children discover their World Curricula. Children Discovering Their World (CDW) is a series of early childhood curricula developed by the Center for Early Childhood Education and Intervention (CECEI) at the University of Maryland, with funding from the Maryland State Department of Education, Division of Early Childhood.

The program is project based and child directed. The curriculum is grounded in math, science, literacy, fine arts, social and movement experiences. Each team will use the curricula developmentally designed for their program. Our threes classes will use the Children Explore their World curriculum while our fours classes  use the Children Study their World curriculum.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Our two’s classes will be using Creative Curriculum with elements of the CEW curriculum activities intertwined. Each curricula offers  developmentally appropriate approaches to learning.
